Medic
has steadily been working to encompass assorted styles of electronic
music into a cohesive yet varied whole with his goals set on bridging
the gap between art and music. Medic is not only a promoter and DJ in
the Baltimore/DC area, he's also an up-and-coming musician on the rise,
having released one album, been featured on various compilations, FM
radio stations, and network television, and collaborating with Charles
Levin of Pigface/My Life with the Thrill Kill Kult/Project .44 fame.
Currently hard at work on his second album, Medic continues to spin his
way into the hearts and minds of a scene in desperate need of something
different, bringing to them the edgiest and coolest breaks, beats,

Born on Walpurgisnacht of 1981, Ilker Yücel (a.k.a. DJGX)
has been steadily infiltrating the scene and misguiding it with his
feigned sense of authority for almost a decade. He's contributed to
Baltimore/DC-based bands Dharmata 101, Red This Ever, Bygone Era,
Reinland, and White Shadow, while also maintaining his own industrial
music project, Galvanax. He has performed remixes for a variety of
artists in the goth/industrial scene, including Brainclaw, Experiment
Haywire, Harshrealm, SexyDeath, XuberX, Mona Mur & En Esch, and
KMFDM!!! He's also the Editor-in-Chief for ReGen Magazine (http://www.regenmag.com). Industrial, electro, EBM, synthpop, goth, drum & bass... you name it, he'll spin it!

Eidolon Career Solutions is the vendor for July.

Cultures & Alternative Lifestyles" will be taking pre-orders for
its new Audio CD product scheduled for release in July/August 2009. Its
proprietor, Ebony, will also be doing career readings at $10.00-$20.00
each during the evening. So if you have a burning career question, want
feedback on your resume, help exploring career options, or need an
informative and unique experience that goes beyond simple entertainment
by providing useful, action oriented information - this is the night to

Dunkelheit has
residents DJ Panic and HardwareE.S.T., two bars, private smoking deck,
and a kitchen serving up delicious Ethiopian food. Don’t forget to
bring cash for the upstairs bar since credit cards are only accepted
downstairs. As always, Hardware will be serving up delicious drinks at
the upstairs bar between his music sets!

Dunkelheit is located
at Asefu, 1920 9th Street NW, Washington, DC 20009 (Between T and U
Streets). The club is Metro accessible from the yellow/green lines at U
Street Station. Take the Vermont Avenue exit, walk one block on U
Street and make a right onto 9th Street. There are also two small pay
parking lots on the same block as Asefu as well as street parking.

Dunkelheit is open from 9pm to 2am. 18+ with valid ID. Cover is $5.
