For everyone who has ever thought, "hey, someone should make a shirt
that says..."
For everyone thinking, "We should really get shirts for our band,
but..." or
everyone thinking, "We should really get shirts for our club, but..." or
everyone thinking, "We should really get shirts for our theater,
but..." or
"our small film studio..." or "with my cartoons on them..." or "for
our coffee shop..."
....or any of the endless other times that someone has thought about
getting t-shirts made for their small- or micro- sized group of
people, but then discovered how very -expensive- it can be to have
custom-printed shirts made if you are only placing a small order, this
new service is just for you. In fact, though there are over 60 shirt
colors available, this service was created first and foremost to
provide the features most requested by people ordering black t-shirts.
By simplifying the printing process to offer only the four most
popular ink colors (black, red, white and blue) and doing a weekly,
ganged run of many jobs at once, the pricew for short runs of shirts
is cut dramatically. You can get (for instance) one dozen black shirts
with a white print on them for only $7.50 each (minimum order is 6
pieces). These are high-quality, 100% cotton ultra cotton shirts, and
that's usually $13-$15/shirt elsewhere online...there is also an
option to have the shirts printed on a US-made, organic cotton shirt
for a few dollars per shirt more.
Deadline for each weekly print run is noon on Monday. Shirts print in
the same sequence as orders were placed, and are ready at the latest
by Friday of the same week. If you live within 3 miles of Alexandria,
VA, you can even get free delivery--put code LocalDelivery in the
checkout screen to cancel out the shipping costs.
There is also a referral program--register with the site, and get an
email with a link you can pass along to other people. For every person
you refer who places an order, you can get one free shirt when you
place an order yourself.
If you have artwork already, the process of uploading it is very
simple. If you do not, there are thousands of clip art images and over
100 fonts with which you can create your shirt right on the site. The
entire ordering process from picking a shirt through creating layout
you want to placing your order can be done in just a few minutes, and
if you get stuck there is live online help there to un-stick you. If
you read this before noon on Monday, you could take that great idea
that's in your head and turn it into an armfull of real t-shirts
before the end of the week.
