DJs Dirty B & 2501 invite you to join us this Thursday as we say thank
you to everyone who has helped make this past year a great time for
us, as we once more turn over the music to you for another all-request
night.

In the last days of October 2006, as it became clear that "Alchemy at
Envy" was not going to work out, it was also clear to us that there
was still a very hard-core group of people who wanted a place to go on
Thursday nights. Five was happy to welcome us to their venue, and we
were glad to have a place we could keep spinning but that didn't
require us to kill ourselves every week to do so.

We had a great opening run, then spent the beginning of 2007 dealing
with nasty weather every Thursday and the smoking ban, yet still that
hardcore group stuck with us. As we moved through the summer and into
the second half of 2007, it became clear that more and more people
were once again excited about going out on Thursday nights, and also
that there were other people out there who were enthusiastic about
helping put together a new, bigger Thursday night party.

So we decided that a year was long enough. We have had a great time
with it being "our show" the past year, but so many other people have
a lot to offer as more than "guest DJs", we're excited to see where
things go.
