11.30.07 :: The return of DJ Kangal + release party
for Dawn of Ashes' The Crypt Injection!

With the second 'hump week' behind us, it looks like
Submerge is ready to run strongly into the end of
November! While the first floor of our venue may
remain 'under construction' until possibly December,
we still have plenty to offer on our main floor. This
month, we bring to you DJ Kangal, a familiar face a
recognizable name to anyone in the D.C. industrial
scene. From his staff gigs at nights like Alchemy,
Catacomb, Dark City, Syndrome, and Spaceboy, to his
midwest tours and appearances at Dracula's Ball in
Philadelphia, this will definitely be a night not to
miss!

In addition, we will be giving away as well as
spinning tracks for the new album by Dawn of Ashes,
courtesy of our friends at COP International. For fans
of 'hellektro' acts like Agonoize, Tactical Sekt, and
Psyclon Nine, this is a release not to miss!

Of course, alongside our guest, we will once again
have for you the talents of DJs Ras DNA, and Vlad
on-hand to bring you the latest to the greatest in the
electronic to industrial genres!

Submerge is self-described as D.C.'s home for
"industrial" music, covering everything from EBM to
synthpop, powernoise to hellektro, guitar-industrial
to goth-crossover.

Currently, Submerge is on the second floor of Club
Expo, a space that features a nice hardwood dance
floor, a small stage, plus ample seating and tables
for those who need a break from dancing.

For those in the 21+ set, please note that we will
feature nightly drink specials of $3.00 rail and
domestic beers from 9pm to 10:30pm. After 10:30 PM,
our prices are $4.00 for rail and domestics, $5.00 for
call, $6.00 for high call, and $7.00 for top shelf.
Keep in mind, our staff bartender may be a familiar
face as well - Jay, who has bartended at events like
Alchemy and currently Arcadia. Additonally, if you're
looking for food, there will be a great menu available
to select from, including some American, Italian and
even Ethiopean choices!
