This week we feature two more DJs from the Arcadia team, doing their
first full-length nights in this new format. From hard-edged
industrial to indie, both spin sets which include good amount of
guitar-based acts, for those who shy away from the "beepy stuff" :)


Dan Dan Amitai started DJing at the UMD college radio station under
the name Smooth Henry. He uses turntables, CD players and laptops to
mix dance music spanning many genres at different events. He has
played all over the DC area, including Black Cat, Edge, Rock and Roll
Hotel and Home Ultrabar.

Dan is a member of the Freeform DJ Collective, and hosts Beyond, a
weekly downtempo and dubstep night in Dupont Circle.

As part of Arcadia, Dan is bringing the mixing sensibilities of a
house music DJ to the industrial genre. Full-on, non-stop mixing of a
style not often heard in G/I clubs. Those who caught his sets at
Spooky! got just a taste of what is to come. Here are some of the
tracks he spun that night:
