First, a big thank you to everyone who came out and made the startup  
weeks of Chronos so much fun for us in 2006. The club is very happy  
with our crowd, and personally for us as DJs, your enthusiasm has  
really made spinning a blast.

Second, we want to remind everyone that the DC smoking ban is now in  
effect. Since Five has an outdoor area, people will still be able to  
smoke without leaving the club, just not in the interior areas. We  
hope that the canopy over the deck and the multiple heaters will make  
this as little inconvenience as possible for our smoking patrons, and  
we also hope that we'll now be seeing more of those of you who have  
allergies who've had to avoid the clubs altogether in the past. For  
now, we're going to continue to have the music on the deck as lower- 
volume, alternative music rather than full-volume, so that it can  
also be a quieter area for people who want that, but please give us  
your feedback about it. We're open to making it a second DJ/dance  
area if more people want that.

the dance floor no matter what your preference.
